Services We Provide
Annual Exams
Annual exams are recommended for all women. Pap smears are performed on any woman who is 21 years of age. A breast exam will be included in your annual exam. We encourage monthly self-breast exams, and we teach our patients how to do this properly. For women over the age of 40, we strongly encourage screening mammograms because this group is at higher risk for breast cancer.
Hormone Replacement Therapy
No single approach to menopause or pre-menopause works for every woman. In order to navigate this challenging time in a women’s life, patients need to be fully informed about the benefits and potential risks of hormonal and non-hormonal supplementation.
Menopause Management
Our practice has seen significant growth in Menopause Management over the past several years, coinciding with the aging of the body as women reach mid-life. As various issues and symptoms arise during this transition, Seasons Women’s Care provides comprehensive menopause treatment to effectively address discomfort and alleviate symptoms.
Birth Control
Birth Control has come a long way in the past ten years. We are pleased to be able to provide counseling to our patients regarding the growing number of birth control options. Several hormonal contraceptive options are now available, including birth control pills, extended use pills, the patch, the NuvaRing, and Depo Provera. We can also perform IUD insertion and removal, and we offer progesterone containing IUD. Sterilization procedures are described under “Surgeries”.
Endometriosis Evaluation & Treatment
Endometriosis is the abnormal growth of uterine tissue. Seasons Women’s Care provides both non-surgical and surgical treatment for endometriosis, which depends on several factors including the extent and severity of the condition. Endometriosis is a common problem that needs monitoring and treatment because complications may lead to pain and infertility.
Family Planning Services
Thinking about getting pregnant? Whether you want to expand your current family or prevent pregnancy, we provide comprehensive Family Planning Services. Please speak to one of our care providers to discuss those options, and health care solutions that may be beneficial to you.
Premenstrual Syndrome
(PMS/PMSS) often comes with a variety of symptoms, such as headaches, abdominal pain, digestion problems, sleep difficulties, mood changes, and thought processing difficulties. These symptoms occur 5 to 11 days before a woman’s period begins. Some women experience premenstrual dysphonic disorder (PMDD), a severe form of PMS. PMDD and PMS are genuine medical conditions, and it is important to receive appropriate treatment for them.
STD Screening & Treatment
We offer counseling and screening for a variety of sexually transmitted diseases in a discreet, relaxed setting. We can prescribe treatment for most STD’s and we also perform office cryotherapy for genital warts.
